The Chona Commission

 

The Chona commission in 1972 made recommendations that ushered in the One-Party State in Zambia. It has been a controversial issue in the History of Zambia as to whether it was good for the country or not. On this page there are links to a document written by Dr. Kaunda on the Choma Declaration and how he viewed the the coming of the One-Party-state.
